Students have been experimenting with and refining contemporary Aboriginal painting technique. Natural landscape, flora and fauna have been used as sources of inspiration for both design and colour, such as the markings on a variety of lizards of the Kimberley and the desert regions. Students experimented with colour combinations and enjoyed creating vibrant designs. The painting was a relaxing experience for all and inspired students to both connect to culture and use arts as a pathway for self-expression.
