On Monday the 5th June, Warners Bay High School junior AECG students led a whole school assembly to commemorate National Sorry Day.
Students spoke about the Stolen Generation and the impact it had on families. A candle was lit and a minute’s silence was held to remember those affected. Year 11 student Bella Niarros also read a poem by Nola Gregory to commemorate 50 years since the 1967 Referendum.
