On Monday 28th May, Warners Bay High school Junior AECG led a whole school assembly to commemorate National Sorry Day.
Students spoke about the Stolen Generation and the impact on families. A candle was lit and a minute of silence was held to remember those who were affected.
As it had been 10 years since Kevin Rudd delivered his apology to the stolen generations, a staff member read out the apology to remind everyone that we should never forget, nor repeat the mistakes of the past.
